Jet-powered wheelchair surprise

Some more crazy vehicle antics. I know lets get Grandma's wheelchair and jam a jet engine on the back. It will provide hours of amusement for the whole family, plus it reaches a top speed of above 60mph. Crazy you might say, well I'm all for futuristic sustainable transport.

Crazy Speeding

Now this guy was pulled over for doing like 120mph in a fiat punto, basically a POS, and he spent 18 months fighting the charges and eventually was let off. The thing that really annoys me is that these kinds of stories come up all the time. Speed cameras and police radar must be fairly dodgy. It annoys the crap out of me when what is basically a revenue raising system (speed cameras) book people without even a reason, personally I think speed cameras should be gotten rid of and be replaced with dwarves or something. Well I dunno I'm just rambling now, but I really don't like speed cameras.

Estimation Quiz

Here is a tough online quiz that gets you to estimate all kinds o stuff. It takes a bit of time to do and is quite hard. I only got 25% or something out of the possible points. See here for all the action.

Aliminium Bottles

Hang on I'm a little confused. I could have sworn that beer had been served in aliminium since time began, well maybe not since time began but certainly for a very long time. Yet now, Pittsburgh Brewing Company have come out with a beer served in an aliminium bottle. Whats the deal with this, cans weren't good enough or something, gotta charge us more for our hard fought alcohol. Thats it I'm going to get a VB tinnie and savour the smooth smooth taste.

Munch Robbery in Photos

Everybody knows the famous painting by Munch, The Scream, well a couple of days ago it was stolen from a gallery in Oslo along with "Madonna" also by Munch. I have to say that I really like the painting, it is one of the most easily recognisable and famous pieces of art the world has ever seen. The real shame about the whole thing is that if the painting is not recovered then it will probably be destroyed or lost forever. Crazy fools. This is a pictoral story of what happened, you can find your own damn links if you like text.

Clumsy Crooks

This amusing site details the misadventures of stupid criminals who break all kinds of laws. It seems regularly updated and will provide a few minutes of amusement away from the boredom of your dilbert like office. Some highlights include the Woman who Let her 7-Year-Old Son Drive While She Was Drunk and many other stories in a similar vein.

Everything You Thought You Knew About Grilling Is Wrong

I dunno about this guy, although he is referring to the american term of grilling I think he is mostly full o crap. Most of the stuff is really obvious but he recommends cooking steaks by turning frequently. Now this I really have to disagree with. You want a steak done right you turn it once and only once goddamn it. Sure if you want to cook a steak to smithereens and not juicy medium rare you might want to keep turning to seal the juices, but for your average high quality steak turn once only. Anywhere here is the link. Stupid americans

Here I am

Well after a week at a crazy meeting I'm back, expect many more crazy sites and pointless crapping on about how cool some kind of combination super car/boat/mp3/house/laser would be. And here is everybody's favourite site anish.com

SBS set to lose English Premier League

For all those aussies out there who enjoy watching the premier league. This could be the biggest blow yet. Turns out fox are asking an obscene amount of money from SBS to broadcast the highlights show and one game per week. Personally I have to say I'm really pissed off with fox, first there was euro 2004, so those of us who don't feel like forking out $50/month had to find a venue to watch the games. It was a bit of a problem when most of the games were on at 3am and now there is this. Damn foxtel bastards think they can just buy the rights to everything and force me to pay the cash for tv. I had fox at home a couple of years ago and despite 50 or so channels most of the time there was nothing but crap on. So how the hell am I meant to get my premier league fix now!!!!!

Smarttruck III

This is one crazy wacky truck, I'm not sure what the previous versions of smarttruck were like but thi sone looks pretty kick ass. I mean seriously who could possibly need all this....Defence systems, gun turrets the works. In fact I've already ordered four along with the aircraft carrier this morning, soon the world will be mine. muhahahahahaa

Air Craft Carrier for sale

Well you always wanted your own aircraft carrier didn't you?? Well here is your opportunity. Current asking price only $6.5 million. It was only refurbished in 1998 so I think its a fair bargain. The ideal vessel for beginning your plans to take over the world.

Commuter Cars

Yet another crazy design for a new type of car. This one is super small, super efficient and super expensive. The Tango looks pretty funky and goes form 0-60mph in 4 seconds. Thats damn fast actually, and would blow the hell out of just about anything else on the road except some kind of super car. The only problem with these kinds of cars is that they never seem to sell well. About the only weird car that has done well is the smart car, and really only in europe. So damned if I know how they think they are going to sell these things when everybody wants to drive the worlds largest SUV.

The olympics

This is a pretty amusing flash cartoon of what really goes on at the olympics. The guy on the diving board was pretty amusing. You need flash and sound though and it goes on for a few minutes.

BALON OFICIAL EUROCOPA DEL PENALTI FALLADO POR BECKHAM. I like the spanish so I'm keeping it.

Hey everybody, remember a few weeks ago when I was talking about the ball that beckham missed the penalty with. Well it sold for 28,500.00 euros and it was bought by some casino. I still wanted to get my hands on it but I couldn't justify spending more than my entire years salary on a soccer ball. It was bought by some casino in the end they'll probably just give it away to some schmo who loses $3million on poker. Jerks.

Jesus Images

This rather disturbing site has pictures of Jesus in a number of amusing places. Some may find it a little offensive, hell some may find this blog a little bit offensive. But you may as well go live in a cave and stop bothering me. Personally I think jesus would love it, he loves everybody remember. Anyway enough of my psychotic ramblings here's the link.

Thanks Ingrid!

OMG WTF!! Lemmings

Now everybody remembers Lemmings, don't they. Come on fools I know you do. Lemmings is that super addictive game from the early 90s where you guide crazy little guys to safety. Well here it is in all its glory. Plus all you need to play it is a web browser and a spare 42598478 hours.

CoasterDynamix

Ever dreamed of building your own roller coaster?? Well now you can. For the low low price of $500 you can buy your own kit and design one hell of a crazy ride. For that kind of money you could spend quite a few days at theme parks riding real rollercoasters but I guess if you are stuck in a wheelchair or can't leave the house for fear of sunshine then it could be ok.

New DAP from Archos: Gmini 400

I dunno what all these acronyms mean, hell I don't even know what planet I live on most of the time. What I do know is that this strange little media player thing, plays just about any file you can throw at it and has a built in compact flash reader for transferring all your documents. 20g might not be quite enough once you start adding all your music/photos and everything else but these things are definitely the way of hte future. A portable cheap media centre that you can carry around and it does just about everything. I just can't wait until they are available somewhere besides Korea.

For those interested in even more bushisms here is a site that provides analysis on a huge number of bushisms and what he really meant to say. Man George W is stupid.
