Illusions to elude you

Once upon a time I blogged a whole bunch of illusions, I can't be stuffed finding that post now so here is a whole bunch more illusions. I especially like this one, it really looks like I'm going insane and will soon be blind from the waist down. In fact, maybe I've already gone insane and founded my own cult, the millions of dollars I'm raising will be to develop my own giant squid farm, I hear they are quite a delicacy.

Its a series of giant tubes

No in this case it really is a series of giant tubes, beneath the streets of Tokyo. You can go in as a tourist and see this crap for real. It looks like it is out of half life or something weird and its really used for removing a whole bunch of water from under tokyo during the typhoon season. Giant 50 metre tubes with giant pumps that power through the super happy fun slide of water than inundates everyone's favourite city.

Beards are objects of terror

This fine news article has to be one of the funniest I've seen for a long time. James Hetfield (Metallica) was detained at an airport for having a Taliban look alike beard. Now what gets me is that his beard is fairly typical of a beard. Its not particularly likely to be filled with explosives or anything else yet he was detained because of it. I'm so growing a beard and keeping it laced with poison, so anyone who touches it dies a slow and painful death. Exciting stuff.

Who needs the Kwik-E-Mart, I do

Everyone needs the Kwik-E-Mart and with this all new promotion for the Simpsons movie selected 7-11s are being converted into Kwik-E-Marts. This is really exciting news, because in addition to being called Kwik-E-Marts they'll sell a whole bunch of Simpsons stuff including Buzz cola. If only they had Duff, there was a company that made Duff for a brief period of time but they got shut down. I hear that on ebay the cases go for billions now.

Virtual barber shop

I can't believe its not butter!! No wait, I can't believe that the virtual barbershop isn't a real barbershop. Now, I'm deadly serious, grab some headphones (not speakers) and go and have a listen to the barbershop. It'll potentially freak you out with some mighty realistic sounding stuff going on.
