Well enter the fully automated restaurant. You place orders directly on a computer and pay with magic card although I guess cash could easily be an option. Your food is still prepared by chefs who place it on the gravity fed delivery system which provides the food directly to your table. Plus the whole system gives you an idea of expected wait times and how soon your can expect your lobster stuffed with tacos stuffed with caviar stuffed with gruel to arrive.

Make your own beer

The more beer the merrier and this fine contraption makes it easy to have a selection of your own premium brew always available. Rather than using bottles and a whole bunch of transferring this is an all-inclusive system where the fine, tasty, malty, sweet, delicious beverage is securely pumped around using friendly C02. Sure, the guy just built it for himself but the day can't be too far away when we are all brewing our own beverages and adding them straight into a keg without the need for any pesky interference.

Virtual barber shop

I can't believe its not butter!! No wait, I can't believe that the virtual barbershop isn't a real barbershop. Now, I'm deadly serious, grab some headphones (not speakers) and go and have a listen to the barbershop. It'll potentially freak you out with some mighty realistic sounding stuff going on.

I didn't believe that a five second video of a chipmunk could actually be interesting, funny and entertaining all at once. Well how wrong was I, dramatic chipmunk provides a world of excitement in just five seconds of amusement. Yeah, its not all fun and games in airports and in fact I reckon they are one of the most boring life sucking places in the whole world.

Congressman living off food stamps

This blog from US congressman Tim Ryan details an interesting little experiment that he has been up to for the last week of so. He has been attempting to live off food stamps for a week. Now US food stamps give you $21 to live off for a whole week, so there isn't much chance of getting some steak or anything else exciting. Day 1 details his plan for the week and how much stuff you can actually get for your cash. So go ahead read the whole weeks worth and find out what its like living off the olde food stamps. Generally I'd say that most people living off food stamps would also have to contribute a bit of their cash too but its an interesting experiment nonetheless.
